Gloucester Brewery

They founded Gloucester brewery in 2011 and they are on Llanthony Road in the historic Gloucester Docks. The premises are a converted horse stable from when the docks were in full use.

They usually hold tours on the last Friday of every month from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm which are bookable in advance. You can book on their website, or just give the brewery a call, and speak to a member of staff.

The tour includes admission to the brewery, sampling of a few of their beers a tour of the site. There is also an educational talk about the process of beer making.

Based in Longhope near to May Hill, Hillside Brewery prides themselves in the craft of beer. This means they choose only the best water and the finest ingredients. They also do tours of their site. After an initial sample, you will agree on one beer, which is an excellent match for you. In fact, you have 6 to choose from and all very different.

Hillside Brewery Gloucestershire

Their full brewery tour includes 4 bottles of Hillside Brewery ales and a limited edition Hillside Brewery beer glass for you to take home.

Stroud Brewery

They established the Stroud Brewery in 2007 and is a member of the Gloucestershire Craft Brewers. Stroud Brewery aims to ensure all of its beer is of the highest quality, and this is the reason for its membership of SIBA.

This is a craft brewery in Thrupp that creates quality cask ales and a unique range of organic & vegan beers. They create the beer using Cotswold grown malt and whole hops.

A tour is usually available on the last Friday of every month, which needs booking in advance. They have own bar which is usually open from 3 pm-11 pm every Friday and Saturday. The beer supplies their own beers and has a pizza oven for food.

Battledown Brewery Cheltenham

The Battledown Brewery is the oldest working brewery in Cheltenham. Tours of the brewery can take place for groups most days. Battledown brew a selection of beers including Cheltenham S.P.A Premium, Special or Blonde.

Brewhouse & Kitchen

Brewhouse brews their own beer on-site and matches beer with each item on the menu to enhance your enjoyment. For real ale enthusiasts and those interested in brewing, they have an experience where you learn all about making beer.

The day lasts approximately 7 hours and includes breakfast and lunch. The tour gives you a chance to sample 8 different beers, This includes all the beers they brew on site in the microbrewery!
