Gloucestershire Tour

This tour in Gloucestershire will be the highlight of Remi’s season, a great opportunity for jazz enthusiasts to get up close and personal to Remi in some lovely, rural venues.

Remi commented on his upcoming tour, ‘Since our tour in the South West last year, I’ve been itching to get back on the road. It’s always a pleasure to play intimate gigs, close to home; you get a great rapport with the audience and there’s something really refreshing about hearing our music in these friendly, personal venues.’

Remi’s Music

Remi’s unique style blends traditional gypsy jazz and swing elements with blues, bebop, rock, world music, popular melodies and contemporary jazz. The Remi Harris Project’s mesmerizingly different sound has caught the attention of music magazines, label bosses and jazz broadcasters, with legendary Birmingham jazz label Big Bear Records signing Remi in 2012.

His debut album, Ninick, received overwhelmingly good reviews from critics and jazz lovers alike. Jazz writer and broadcaster Digby Fairweather commented that Remi was ‘Probably Britain’s greatest jazz guitarist to emerge since Martin Taylor… a recorded debut which places Remi Harris securely in the front line of the world’s finest jazz guitarists’.
