I have stayed at the hotel occasionally, including a new year’s eve treat where I also went tubing over the road at the Ski Centre.
I have found the rooms to be comfortable and clean. One of them was impressive and had a separate living room, which proved very handy. The rooms had comfy beds, many pillow options, and the showers were strong. Some rooms also have a bath, which is great for unwinding before bed.
On each visit, I have visited the health club with the primary aim of relaxing. The swimming pool is unique where you can swim around their big jacuzzi at a leisurely pace. The centrepiece jacuzzi is very relaxing and warm and great to sit and wind down.
To the side of the pool are the sauna and steam rooms. These are quite cosy but have the desired effect. A shower is located just outside to rinse on before and after a session in the heat.
I prefer relaxing and healing massage treatments and have enjoyed their Indian Head Massage and the hot stone massage. Both massages were great. All done in a comfortable room, delivered by professional staff. Both massages enhanced the visit, and I felt very relaxed after visiting the spa.
