The National Diving & Activity Centre or NDAC is based in Chepstow just outside the Gloucestershire border. NDAC offer some of the best inland dive conditions in Europe and a range of other outdoor activities.
The centre caters for complete beginners who may fancy a try-dive in the pool, or a seasoned diver who wishes to progress to new depths or start instructing.

Zip Wire Ride
Thrill-seekers can get their fix in high-speed style with this zip wire ride. Gliding for almost a kilometre, sliders will be able to take in the flooded quarry 80 metres beneath them as they whizz through the air at speeds of up to 40 miles per hour. Giant 3G Swing
Visitors are hoisted 50ft up into the air and slowly pulled back to the release point. Then when you decide you pull the ripcord and away you swing!
After the initial drop, you will swing into the air, feeling the G-force as you pass the lowest point back into the air. The wing is 245ft high over the steep quarry edges of the UK’s Deepest Inland Dive Site.
The site also has a 400ft high bungee jump from a crane over the quarry. This is a unique jump in the world of bungee jumping, falling 400ft into a quarry. The jump has fantastic views from the top too as an added bonus.
Paddling a kayak in the clear freshwater of the lake is an activity that can be enjoyed by the whole family. The minimum age is 5 years old and takes place in the warmer months of the year.
Safely Learn to Paddleboard in the crystal clear freshwater lagoon at the centre. This is a fun and social activity for groups as well as on your own.
With a Wye Valley location close to the River Severn, a wigwam glampsite is situated on the site of the National Diving and Activity Centre where, from Thursday to Sunday, big and little kids can try their hand at outdoor activities.
