Recently established Woodkraft is a modern eatery in the town centre serving excellent food from a menu devised by a past MasterChef winner. Woodkraft class themselves as a fine dining cafe and serve some very special food. However, their longhorn burgers are the best item on the menu.

Dolce & Salato

Another nice place that serves great food is Dolce & Salato. Dolce & Salato is an Italian restaurant/cafe with an interesting menu. They serve many pasta dishes, salads, soups and more. They also stock great wine, coffee and beer to enjoy a drink out.

Their dining area is a nice place to spend time and they also have some seats outside on the street. On or recent visit, we enjoyed the lasagne from the special board. This tasted great and was quite filling. They served this with garlic bread. Overall, a nice place with very tasty cuisine.

Brewery Quarter Restaurants

The Brewery Quarter is located just off the High Street and has a variety of places to eat or drink. The Brewery is home to a nice variety of restaurants like Mr Mulligan’s. This is a golf-themed restaurant where you can play 18 holes of virtual golf.

However, for beer lovers, Brewhouse and Kitchen microbrewery and bar call it home. Also, for those that like steak, Son of Steak is the place to visit. They serve a great menu and have some delicious options for flat iron steak, including a vegan version. Nandos is the go-to place for Piri Piri chicken lovers.

A lovely place to dine out near the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham is The Old Courthouse. They are in a lovely historic building which was built in the late 19th century. The building retains many of its original features, making it a beautiful place to enjoy a meal out.
